Ben Shephard – Wife, Net Worth, Career and Family Facts

Ben Shephard’s Wife and Illness: Sourced Facts and Unknowns

Ben Shephard, the long-running British television presenter best known for Tipping Point and ITV’s This Morning, has been the subject of significant public curiosity about his family life — in particular, questions about his wife’s health. The most reliable publicly reported information comes from a 2019 interview in which Shephard disclosed that his wife, Annie Perks Shephard, had been battling pneumonia. No confirmed evidence in available sources suggests she has an ongoing serious illness as of 2025 or 2026.

Shephard married Annie Perks in March 2004, and the couple has two sons. Annie has maintained a low public profile throughout Shephard’s broadcasting career, and the family generally keeps personal matters private. The 2019 pneumonia episode remains the only health-related disclosure about Annie that can be traced to a verifiable, reputable source.

What about Ben Shephard’s own health?

Search queries about “Ben Shephard illness” sometimes conflate his wife’s pneumonia with his own medical history. According to a Mirror report, Shephard once mentioned surgery-related family care that concerned his own injury recovery, not a separate illness for Annie. No current or chronic health condition has been confirmed for Shephard himself in available sources.

Ben Shephard’s Net Worth and Earnings

Ben Shephard’s net worth is a frequent search topic, but no verified figure is published in the top-ranking sources consulted for this article. Wikipedia, IMDb, and the YMU talent agency profile — all authoritative resources — do not list a specific net worth. Any number circulating online should be treated as an unverified estimate unless it can be traced to a reliable financial disclosure or Shephard’s own statement.

What is clear from his career trajectory is that Shephard has held prominent presenting roles on ITV for well over a decade. His longest-running show, Tipping Point, has been on air since 2012, and his co-presenter role on This Morning began in 2024. These sustained positions, alongside additional work on Ninja Warrior UK and The Summit, suggest a stable and long-term broadcasting career, but exact earnings remain private.
